Renault Duster Adventure Edition Debuts in India With Rugged Styling and Premium Upgrades

Renault has expanded the lineup of its popular Duster SUV in India with the launch of the Adventure Edition, priced from ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Designed for buyers who want a more adventurous look without stepping up to the top-spec model, the new edition combines exclusive cosmetic enhancements with several premium features usually found in higher variants.

Rather than being an entirely new trim, the Adventure Edition is based on the Evolution variant, making it an attractive option for customers looking for extra equipment at a relatively affordable premium.

More Features Without Going Fully Top-Spec

The standard Evolution trim already comes well-equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 17-inch alloy wheels, all-LED lighting, and six airbags as standard.

With the Adventure Edition, Renault has added features that were previously exclusive to the flagship Techno variant. Buyers now get a panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, and dual-zone automatic climate control, making this edition one of the best-equipped versions in the Duster range without paying for the top-end trim.

Adventure-Themed Styling Inspired by Leh

The biggest highlight of the special edition is its distinctive exterior styling.

Renault has introduced a unique topographical contour graphic on the rear quarter panel, featuring the exact geographical coordinates of Leh (34.27°N, 77.60°E). According to the company, the design pays tribute to the challenging high-altitude terrain where the Duster underwent extensive testing.

The same Adventure-themed design also appears as a decorative plaque on the front doors, while the cabin receives exclusive Adventure Edition-branded floor mats, adding a subtle but distinctive touch to the SUV’s interior.

Engine Options Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the Adventure Edition remains identical to the standard Duster.

Customers can choose between two turbo-petrol engine options:

• A 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 100 PS and 160 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
• A more powerful 1.3-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine generating 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox.

Since there are no mechanical changes, buyers can expect the same balance of everyday drivability and highway performance that has made the Duster a popular choice among SUV enthusiasts.
