Mumbai: The buzz around Kunal Kemmu’s reality show Alliance has just become even bigger. Adding fresh excitement to the competition, Sohail Khan, filmmaker and brother of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has officially confirmed that he will be joining the reality series as a contestant.

The show has already aired three episodes and has been gaining attention for its unusual concept, where contestants rely on trust, strategy and real-life relationships instead of simply competing in physical challenges. One of the biggest twists in the format is that even after eliminations, the total number of contestants never decreases, as every eviction is followed by the arrival of a new participant.

The speculation surrounding Sohail Khan’s participation had been circulating for days, but the actor has now put all rumours to rest. While interacting with paparazzi during a recent outing, he happily confirmed the news.

“Yes, I’m going. It’s my first time doing something like this, so please support me,” Sohail said, expressing both excitement and nervousness about entering the reality TV space.

Speaking further about his decision, Sohail revealed that Alliance stood out because it goes beyond conventional reality show formats.

According to him, the show is built around human relationships, trust and adaptability, making every decision inside the house unpredictable. He shared that he enjoys taking on new challenges, and this format felt like the perfect opportunity to test himself in a completely different environment.

Sohail also admitted that coming from the Khan family, loyalty has always been an important value in his life. However, he acknowledged that inside Alliance, friendships and equations can change overnight, meaning trust has to be earned repeatedly rather than assumed.

A Star-Studded Contestant Line-up

The reality show features several well-known personalities who have entered the competition alongside people with whom they share genuine bonds in real life.

Among the contestants are Ravi Kishan and his daughter Riva Kishan, while television actor Kushal Tandon is paired with Arsalan Goni. Choreographer and digital creator Zaid Darbar has teamed up with actor Daisy Shah, whereas long-time friends Mini Mathur and Nikhil Chinapa bring years of friendship into the game.

The contestant list also includes social media creator Ruhee Dosani alongside actress Niti Taylor, gaming creator Vanshaj Singh with fashion influencer Dolly Javed, and popular YouTuber Payal Dhare (Payal Gaming) paired with content creator Sabby Suri. Completing the line-up are actor Delbar Arya and writer-actor Armaan Khera.

With Sohail Khan officially joining the show, viewers can expect fresh alliances, shifting strategies and new twists that could dramatically change the course of the competition in the coming episodes.
