Vijay Deverakonda Denies 6 Caravans Rumours on Ranabaali Set, Calls It Fake News
**Vijay Deverakonda dismisses viral claims about “6 caravans and 50 assistants” on Ranabaali set as fake news.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has found himself at the centre of a social media storm after false claims about his alleged behaviour on the sets of his upcoming film Ranabaali began circulating online. The controversy erupted after several fabricated screenshots, designed to look like authentic news reports, went viral on X (formerly Twitter).

The misleading posts alleged that the actor had demanded as many as 5 to 6 caravans and nearly 40 to 50 assistants during the film’s shoot. Some of the viral claims even went further, suggesting that the production house Mythri Movie Makers was forced to approach the Producers Council due to alleged disruptions on set.

However, these claims were quickly dismissed after Vijay Deverakonda’s team issued a firm clarification. According to the official statement, the viral content is part of a “targeted misinformation campaign” aimed at damaging the actor’s reputation.

The team stressed that the screenshots were deliberately edited and circulated to resemble genuine articles from trusted entertainment portals, making them appear believable to unsuspecting users online. They also urged fans and social media users not to engage with or amplify such unverified content.

Adding further clarity, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Ranabaali, also stepped in to shut down the rumours. Senior producer Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar confirmed that the reports were entirely false, describing Vijay Deverakonda as a “thoroughly professional” actor. He also stated that the shooting process is progressing smoothly without any disputes or disruptions.

The clarification comes at a time when Ranabaali has already generated strong buzz in the industry. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, known for Shyam Singha Roy, the film also marks a major on-screen pairing of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, making it a highly anticipated project among fans.

The duo, who previously shared screen space in Dear Comrade (2019), are now reuniting after their reported real-life marriage earlier this year, further increasing expectations around the film.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda continues to stay busy with another project titled Rowdy Janardhana, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, with Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead.

Ranabaali is currently slated for a theatrical release on September 11, 2026, and despite the social media controversy, excitement around the film remains firmly intact.
