The wait for an all-new Toyota Hilux in India could soon be over.

A test vehicle of the next-generation Hilux has been spotted on Indian roads near Delhi’s Aerocity area without camouflage, sparking fresh speculation about an upcoming launch. While Toyota has yet to make an official announcement, the undisguised sighting suggests that the company may be in the final stages of evaluating the premium pickup truck for the Indian market.

Globally unveiled last year, the ninth-generation Hilux represents one of the most significant upgrades in the model’s history. Known worldwide for its durability and off-road capability, the latest version combines ruggedness with modern technology and improved efficiency.

A Tougher, More Premium Design

At first glance, the new Hilux retains its unmistakable pickup-truck identity, but Toyota has given it a far more commanding appearance.
