Lock Upp 2: Sufi Motiwala Breaks Down Over Alleged Assault, Grandmother’s Death and Fear of Friendships

Sufi Motiwala left viewers emotional after making a series of deeply personal revelations following his eviction from Lock Upp Season 2. The content creator spoke candidly about some of the most painful chapters of his life, including an alleged assault, the loss of his grandmother, and how past experiences have made it difficult for him to trust people and build close friendships.

His emotional disclosures quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the reality show, with many viewers expressing support for him on social media.

Sufi Motiwala Recalls Alleged Assault

During his conversation on the show, Sufi Motiwala alleged that he experienced a traumatic incident while staying at a paying guest (PG) accommodation.

According to Sufi, one of his former roommates would frequently watch him while he slept, making him increasingly uncomfortable.

Recalling the alleged incident, he claimed:”My roommate would just be sitting on his bed and keep staring at me as I slept. That would make me really scared. One day, he just tried to force himself on me and started kissing me, making me extremely terrified.”

Sufi said he immediately informed the PG owner about the incident. However, he alleged that the response he received left him even more distressed.

He further claimed that the PG owner made an inappropriate remark instead of offering support.

According to Sufi, the incident had a lasting emotional impact, and he spent nearly 12 hours locked inside a bathroom, struggling to process what had happened.

The Pain of Missing His Grandmother’s Last Call

Sufi also opened up about the heartbreaking loss of his grandmother.

He revealed that she had called him just two days before her death, but he was unable to answer the call. Shortly afterwards, he received the news of her passing.

Adding to his grief, Sufi shared that he was not allowed by his family to attend her funeral.

Despite the painful memories, he said his grandmother left him ₹50,000, which he later used to purchase a mobile phone.

According to Sufi, buying that phone became a turning point in his life, as it helped him begin his journey as a content creator.

Why He Is Afraid of Close Friendships

Speaking about his personal relationships, Sufi Motiwala reflected on an experience from his college days in Delhi.

He said he had only two close male friends at the time and eventually developed romantic feelings for one of them. According to Sufi, those emotions altered their friendship and eventually created distance between them.

Reflecting on that chapter of his life, he admitted that the experience has made him hesitant to form close friendships, fearing that emotional attachment could once again complicate his relationships.
