Allu Arjun Appears Virtually in ‘Pushpa 2’ Stampede Case: Why the Court Pushed the Hearing to July 6
The actor was allowed to attend the Nampally Court proceedings online due to his shooting commitments, but the case could not move forward after some accused failed to appear.
Telugu superstar Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the Nampally Court in Hyderabad in connection with the ongoing ‘Pushpa 2’ stampede case, a matter that has remained under public scrutiny since the tragic incident linked to the film’s screening.
The actor was initially expected to be present in court in person. However, after informing the court about his ongoing shooting commitments, he was granted permission to attend the proceedings through virtual mode.
Despite the scheduled hearing, the case could not proceed to the next stage after some of the accused named in the chargesheet failed to appear before the court.
Court Defers Proceedings to July 6
The hearing was primarily related to procedural requirements ahead of the matter being transferred for trial.
However, the absence of one or more accused individuals led the court to postpone the proceedings. The case has now been listed for hearing on July 6, when all accused persons are expected to be present.
Legal representatives informed the court that complete attendance was necessary before the matter could move forward to the next judicial stage.
What Happened in Court?
According to advocate Bhanu Chander, who is representing the management of Sandhya Theatre, the hearing was connected to the filing of committal bonds in the case.
The chargesheet filed by investigators reportedly names 23 accused persons, including members of the theatre management and associated individuals.
During the hearing, only 21 or 22 of the accused appeared before the court, while one or two individuals remained absent. Because of the incomplete attendance, the court decided to adjourn the matter.
The next hearing is expected to focus on the formal registration of the case before the Sessions Court, a crucial step in the legal process.
All 23 Accused Expected at Next Hearing
Legal experts associated with the case stated that all accused persons must be present during the upcoming hearing.

The court is expected to verify the attendance of every accused individual before moving ahead with further proceedings.
As a result, July 6 is likely to be an important date in the case, as it could determine the timeline for the next phase of judicial action.
Spotlight Remains on the ‘Pushpa 2’ Star
The case continues to attract significant attention due to the involvement of Allu Arjun, one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema.

The actor has remained busy with professional commitments while simultaneously complying with court directives related to the case. His virtual appearance was seen as a practical arrangement that allowed proceedings to continue without disrupting his work schedule.
So far, the latest hearing has not resulted in any major legal developments regarding the allegations themselves. Instead, the focus remained on procedural compliance and ensuring the presence of all accused individuals.
Fans Await Further Developments
As the legal process continues, fans and industry observers are closely following every development in the case.
With the matter now adjourned until July 6, attention will shift to whether all accused individuals appear before the court and whether the proceedings can finally move into the next stage.
Until then, the spotlight remains firmly on both the legal case and Allu Arjun, whose blockbuster franchise continues to dominate headlines for reasons beyond the box office.
