Poco C95 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G Surface on NBTC… Global Launch Could Be Closer Than Expected
Fresh NBTC certifications hint at an imminent global debut for Poco C95 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, while leaks reveal key specifications, battery changes, and camera upgrades.
Xiaomi appears to be expanding its smartphone portfolio once again. Two upcoming devices—the Poco C95 Pro 4G and the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G—have reportedly received certification from Thailand’s NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission), indicating that their global launch could be just around the corner.
While the certification does not reveal detailed specifications, it adds weight to previous leaks suggesting that both smartphones are nearing their international debut.
Poco C95 Pro 4G Could Arrive as a Rebranded Redmi 17 4G
According to recent reports, the Poco C95 Pro 4G is expected to launch as a rebadged version of the Redmi 17 4G, a strategy Xiaomi has adopted several times for different global markets.
The NBTC listing reportedly certifies the Poco handset under the model number 2606FPC72Y, while the Redmi 17 4G carries the model numbers 2606FRN72Y and 2606FRN72L.

- MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra processor
- Up to 6GB RAM
- Up to 256GB internal storage
- 7,500mAh battery
- 45W fast charging

However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed these specifications.
Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G Also Receives Certification
Alongside the Poco device, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has also reportedly cleared the NBTC certification process.
The smartphone has appeared with the model number 2607DRA18G, indicating that Xiaomi is preparing an international version of the device.

According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the global model is expected to retain most of the Chinese variant’s hardware while introducing a few notable changes.
The biggest reported differences include:
- 8,340mAh battery instead of the 9,000mAh battery found in the Chinese version
- Additional 8MP ultra-wide rear camera
If accurate, these upgrades could make the global variant more versatile for photography while maintaining strong battery life.
Expected Redmi Note 17 Pro Specifications
The Chinese version of the Redmi Note 17 Pro already offers impressive hardware, including:
- 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display
- 120Hz refresh rate
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor
- 67W fast charging
- 50MP primary rear camera
- 8MP selfie camera
Whether the international model will retain every specification remains to be officially confirmed.
Entire Redmi Note 17 Lineup Appears Ready
With the latest certification, reports suggest that every model in the Redmi Note 17 family has now surfaced in the NBTC database.
The lineup includes:
- Redmi Note 17
- Redmi Note 17 Pro
- Redmi Note 17 Pro Max
Adding to the excitement, Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 17 will launch in India on August 6, raising expectations that the Pro variants may also be introduced in international markets shortly afterward.
Will These Phones Launch in India?
For now, there is no confirmation regarding an Indian launch for either the Poco C95 Pro 4G or the Redmi 17 4G.
Reports indicate that neither smartphone has surfaced with an India-specific model number so far, suggesting they may remain exclusive to select global markets.
Until Xiaomi makes an official announcement, buyers should treat the leaked specifications and launch timeline as preliminary information.
