Dark monsoon clouds cover the skies over Meerut as rain and thunderstorms are expected to impact the city over the next four days.

Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: The city of Meerut is likely to remain under the grip of active monsoon conditions over the next few days, with the latest weather forecast predicting rainfall, thunderstorms, and overcast skies from July 6 to July 9. The changing weather pattern is expected to bring relief from warm conditions while increasing the possibility of localized waterlogging and traffic disruptions.

According to meteorological forecasts, moisture-laden monsoon winds continue to influence weather conditions across Western Uttar Pradesh, creating favorable conditions for rain-bearing clouds over Meerut and nearby districts.

On July 6, residents can expect cloudy skies accompanied by intermittent rain showers. While temperatures are likely to remain moderate, humidity levels may stay high throughout the day.

The weather is expected to become more active on July 7, with forecasts indicating thunderstorms and moderate rainfall in several parts of the city. Strong winds may accompany thunderstorms, leading to temporary disruptions in outdoor activities and travel.

Moving into July 8, rain showers are likely to continue across Meerut. Some areas may witness brief periods of heavy rainfall, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Commuters are advised to remain cautious as slippery roads and reduced visibility could impact traffic conditions.

On July 9, the city is expected to experience another day of cloudy weather with occasional light to moderate rainfall. While widespread flooding is not anticipated, low-lying areas may experience temporary water accumulation if rainfall intensifies.

Weather experts believe the active monsoon system over northern India will continue supporting rainfall activity across the region throughout the week. The expected showers are also likely to benefit agricultural activities in rural areas surrounding Meerut.

Local authorities have advised residents to stay updated with weather advisories and avoid taking shelter under trees or electric poles during thunderstorms. People traveling during peak rainfall periods should plan their journeys accordingly to avoid delays.

With rain clouds expected to dominate the skyline for several days, Meerut is set to experience a typical monsoon spell marked by cooler temperatures, wet roads, and periodic thunderstorms.
