‘Cocktail 2’ races towards ₹100 crore worldwide: Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s romance refuses to slow down despite weekday dip
The romantic drama witnessed a predictable drop after its blockbuster opening weekend, but remains firmly on track to join the ₹100 crore worldwide club within its first week.
The box office journey of Cocktail 2 continues to impress, with the romantic entertainer inching closer to the coveted ₹100 crore worldwide milestone. Despite a noticeable decline in collections after a stellar opening weekend, the film has managed to maintain a strong hold at cinemas across India and overseas markets.
Headlined by Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna, the film has emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood performers of 2026 so far.
Strong Weekend Gives Film a Flying Start
Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 enjoyed a remarkable opening weekend, collecting an estimated ₹47.5 crore net in India during its first three days. Positive curiosity around the spiritual sequel and the star-studded cast helped the film attract audiences in large numbers.
However, as expected, collections witnessed a slowdown once the weekdays began. The film earned around ₹6.75 crore on Monday and registered a slight decline on Tuesday.
According to trade estimates, Cocktail 2 collected approximately ₹6.65 crore on Day 5, taking its total India net collection to ₹60.90 crore. The India gross collection now stands at an impressive ₹72.75 crore.
Worldwide Total Nears ₹100 Crore Mark
The film has also performed steadily in international markets. Overseas collections added approximately 1.50 crore on Tuesday, pushing the film’s international gross earnings to 22.25 crore.

As a result, the worldwide gross collection of Cocktail 2 has now touched ₹95 crore, placing it just a few crores away from the significant ₹100 crore benchmark.
Trade analysts believe the film could comfortably cross the milestone within the next couple of days if it continues its current run.

A New Chapter in the Cocktail Franchise
Cocktail 2 serves as a spiritual successor to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in leading roles.
Interestingly, both films have been directed by Homi Adajania, who has once again explored themes of love, friendship and emotional complexities through a modern lens.
Apart from the lead trio, the film also features veteran actor Tiku Talsania in an important role. Actor Pulkit Samrat makes a special cameo appearance that has generated considerable buzz among moviegoers.
Released in theatres on June 19, 2026, Cocktail 2 has benefited from a relatively clear release window, facing little competition from other major Hindi releases. With the ₹100 crore milestone now within touching distance, the coming days will reveal just how far this romantic entertainer can go at the box office.
