Abhishek Sharma के लिए मंगलवार की रात Hyderabad में सिर्फ एक match नहीं था — यह एक पूरी कहानी थी। नाबाद 135 रन, 68 गेंदें, 10 चौके, 10 छक्के — और इन सबसे ऊपर, उनके mentor Yuvraj Singh की वो tweet जिसने सब कुछ special बना दिया।

Yuvraj का tweet — mentor से शिष्य तक का संदेश

Abhishek की पारी खत्म होते ही Yuvraj Singh ने X (Twitter) पर लिखा —

“Let the bat do the work! Getting better each day. Well played sir Abhishek! Keep up with the process.”

यह सिर्फ congratulation नहीं था — यह एक mentor की वो नसीहत थी जो बड़े moments में भी feet on the ground रखना सिखाती है।

पारी जो सिर्फ aggressive नहीं, controlled थी

Abhishek ने दिन के hero बनने के लिए सिर्फ power नहीं लगाई — उन्होंने पूरी पारी को shape दी। Travis Head के साथ 97 रन की opening stand, फिर Ishan Kishan के साथ 79 रन की quick partnership, और अंत में Heinrich Klaasen के explosive cameo के साथ total को 242/2 तक पहुँचाया। Abhishek 20 overs तक crease पर डटे रहे — यह पहली बार था जब उन्होंने पूरी IPL innings bat की।

Post-match presentation में Abhishek ने बताया कि उनके माता-पिता stadium में थे लेकिन बहन infection की वजह से नहीं आ सकी। उन्होंने कहा — “My sister is missing today… So this is for you as well.” इस बात ने पूरे cricket fraternity को भावुक कर दिया।

उन्होंने अपने पिता का भी जिक्र किया — “Since U12 days, my dad has been sitting next to the screen… even when I am at the non-striker’s end, he keeps giving me instructions. It actually helps me.”

Harbhajan और Kevin Pietersen ने भी की तारीफ

Yuvraj के अलावा Harbhajan Singh ने लिखा — “Abhishek Sharma you Beauty. 10 sixes, 10 fours. 100 with boundaries only. Kamaal player.” Kevin Pietersen ने कहा — “Abhishek is certainly one of my favourites.” R Ashwin और Ian Bishop ने भी social media पर उनकी तारीफ की।
