Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have built more than just a luxurious residence they’ve created a home that beautifully blends family legacy, modern design and heartfelt memories. Their stunning Krishna Raj bungalow in Pali Hill, Mumbai, reportedly valued at around ₹250 crore, has become one of the most talked-about celebrity homes in India.

The couple officially moved into the six-storey mansion in November 2025. During the griha pravesh ceremony, Alia Bhatt shared a few glimpses of the house on social media, offering fans a rare peek inside their elegant new abode.

As Ranbir Kapoor gears up for the digital release of the Ramayana trailer, the spotlight has once again turned to the luxurious home that carries deep emotional significance for the Kapoor family.

A Home Rooted in Family Legacy

The mansion is named Krishna Raj, in honour of Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor, Ranbir’s grandparents. The property has long been associated with the Kapoor family and was later inherited by Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor during the 1980s.

The redevelopment of the bungalow began under Rishi Kapoor’s supervision. Following his passing, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor were frequently seen visiting the construction site, ensuring the dream project was completed.

Today, the beautifully rebuilt residence serves as the official home of Ranbir, Alia and their daughter Raha Kapoor.

Where Modern Luxury Meets Traditional Elegance

The exterior of the bungalow immediately catches attention with its stylish grey façade, enhanced by lush vertical and horizontal gardens that add a refreshing natural touch.

Inside, the home reflects a perfect balance of contemporary architecture and Indian aesthetics. Spacious living areas feature off-white walls, elegant marble flooring, abundant natural light, and expansive glass windows that create an open, airy atmosphere.

Large indoor plants, earthy décor elements and carefully chosen textures lend warmth to the luxurious interiors, while giant stone planters and sleek black entrance doors add a regal first impression.

A Home That Respects Everyone’s Space

The six-storey residence has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate the entire family while ensuring privacy.

Neetu Kapoor has her own dedicated floor in the mansion, which also includes rooms for daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and granddaughter Samara Sahni.

Speaking on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Neetu shared that despite living in the same building, she believes in giving her son and daughter-in-law their independence.

She explained that she never visits their home without notice and prefers to respect their personal space. According to Neetu, even little Raha comes to meet her whenever she is free, rather than the grandmother dropping by unexpectedly.

Her approach reflects the close yet respectful bond shared by the Kapoor family, making Krishna Raj not just an architectural masterpiece but a home built on love, memories and mutual understanding.
