“‘We Come From Zero’: Bhagyashri Borse’s Emotional Story of Watching Her Father Beg for Work Will Leave You Moved”
Mumbai: Rising actor Bhagyashri Borse has shared an emotional and deeply personal account of her childhood, revealing how financial hardship shaped her ambitions and inspired her to build a successful career. Speaking candidly during an interview, the actor reflected on the difficult years her family endured after her father lost his job around the time she was born.
Bhagyashri recalled that stability was something her family rarely experienced. Coming from a lower middle-class background, she said her parents spent years struggling to provide a better life for their daughters without ever giving up.“We come from zero,” she said, describing how she witnessed her parents constantly fighting against financial challenges while ensuring their children never felt deprived.
The actor revealed that as she grew older, she began to understand the true value of money by observing her parents carefully manage every household expense. Small purchases, she remembered, were meticulously recorded, with every rupee being accounted for in order to stretch the family’s weekly budget.
According to Bhagyashri, these experiences taught her lessons that no classroom could. Watching her parents prioritize their children’s future despite limited resources instilled in her a strong sense of responsibility and determination.
One memory, however, remains etched in her mind even today. Bhagyashri emotionally recalled seeing her father request someone for employment, pleading that he had two daughters to support. She admitted that witnessing such a moment as a child left a lasting impact and became the biggest motivation of her life.

The actor said she made a silent promise to herself that one day she would work hard enough to ensure her father would never have to lower his head before anyone again. She described her parents as the biggest source of her ambition, adding that every achievement in her career is dedicated to them.
